London Bug Day returns to the London Children’s Museum after a two year hiatus

After a two-year hiatus, the
has finally happened on this past September 24th! Under the leadership of Zachary Seth and Stefane Saruhashi, both PhD students in Biology at Western, a hard-working team of volunteers has made the London BUG Day a reality again. The event happened at the
London Children’s Museum, where the ecological and economical importance of insects was showcased to 600+ members of our London community.
Food made of insects, roach races, and a Monarch butterfly release were just some of the many attractions of the event. The London BUG Day was generously sponsored by Nature London, the Entomological Society of Ontario, Âé¶¹´«Ã½ Science, and Montessori Academy. Undoubtedly, the Biology graduate students from Âé¶¹´«Ã½ already look forward to next year’s London BUG Day edition! See photos from the event in the
